In my family, it is a tradition that our mother gives us new pajamas on Christmas Eve as a gift so we feel new and special on Christmas morning. This is my 28th Christmas and I hope we never lose this tradition no matter where we are in life.

Utopian tubes

Tonight at dinner, Ron said “Utopian tubes” instead of Fallopian tubes and I just about lost it. I am sure all the patrons of the sushi bar thought it was equally as hilarious.

Decision

Today I decided my nephew, who will be born in November, is going to be a badass. I want to be called Tia’ Sarah and I will call him Frankenstein. He will wear the motorcycle outfit I bought him and talk about sharks, robots, and dinosaurs. The future is bright my friends.

Thoughts

As I continue onto the chapter on embarrassment in Dacher Keltner’s Born to Be Good, a few questions come to mind: When was the last time I was embarrassed? When was the last time I shrugged?
